On June 8, 2017, CTC-RI and PCMH-Kids will host the initial quarterly IBH meeting for the eight PCMH-Kids practices participating in the Maternal Depression Learning Collaborative.   The meeting will be held at the Rhode Island Quality Institute at 50 Holden Street (3rd floor) in Providence, RI from 7:30 to 9:00am.  PCMH-Kids practices participating in the Maternal Depression Learning Collaborative are expected to attend and other primary care practices may also participate.  Pre-registration is not required to attend this meeting.

The PCMH-Kids primary care practices participating in the Maternal Depression learning collaborative are required to attend the meeting to report out on their initial aim statement, work plans, baseline data, and any issues they might be facing with the project to date.

Additionally, CTC-RI and PCMH-Kids are excited to announce that they will be contracting with Margaret Howard, Ph.D, Founder of the Day Hospital at Women and Infants Hospital; Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (Clinical) at Alpert Medical School of Brown University; Division Director at Women’s Behavioral Health, Women and Infants Hospital; and Associate Director for the Brown University/Women & Infants Hospital Women’s Mental Health Fellowship. Dr. Howard will be providing behavioral health subject matter expertise for the PCMH-Kids practices that are participating in this important role of screening and identifying mental health issues in their patient’s caregivers.  We are thrilled to be working with Dr. Howard on this project and look forward to her assistance in providing the PCMH-Kids practices with content expert recommendations related to maternal and infant mental health.

This learning collaborative has been made possible through funding from Tufts Health Plan, the RI State Innovation Model (SIM), and CTC-RI.
