CTC-RI Telehealth Webinar: “Strategies for Community Health Workers/Patient Navigators”

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 4th installation in our "Advancing Team-Based Telehealth in RI" webinar series. The March 23 webinar focused on strategies for community health workers (CHW) and patient navigators to help their clients successfully utilize telehealth.

Webinar attendees joined from practices and RI community-based agencies leading to a rich discussion about client barriers and opportunities when accessing telehealth. Catherine Taylor of Age Friendly RI shared some best practices and resources for supporting older patients to use technology and telehealth. To kick off the interactive roleplaying portion of the webinar, Nickolas Fitzgerald from RIPIN and Natalie Dumont from NETRC modeled a conversation between a CHW and a client who wanted to sign up for the COVID vaccine.
