Medical Student Helps Evaluate Integrated Behavioral Health Work

Haley Bliss, a second year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School, is collaborating with CTC-RI to evaluate the Integrated Behavioral Health intervention as part of of her thesis for the Primary Care-Population Medicine (PCPM) master's program. The PCPM program is a dual degree MD-ScM program at Brown University that includes coursework on health systems, epidemiology, health disparities, and population health management. Haley presented her research entitled "Behavioral Health Integration in Patient-Centered Medical Homes: Effects on Emergency Department Utilization and Total Cost of Care" at the 12th Annual Warren Alpert Medical School Academic Symposium on Wednesday, November 13.
